As 2024 is drawing to a close, we wanted to take the time to reflect on what has happened over the course of the year.
In this blog, we're going to take an in depth look of everything which has happened here at LiQuid, including new vape juice ranges launched, some of the best vape kits added to our online vape shop, the celebration of 10 years of LiQuid and much more.
As well as this, a lot has happened within the vaping industry this year so we will take a look at everything notable that has happened including the announcement of the biggest shake up coming to the vaping world next year!

Bar Salts - An Ever Growing Range Of Nic Salts
Bar Salts were first launched on LiQuid's online vape shop towards the end of 2023. Designed to be the perfect alternative for disposable vapes as the flavours of our core range were inspired by the flavours of popular disposable vape brands such as Elf Bar and Lost Mary BM600.
From the day they launched, they proved to be a massive hit with our customers and we've sold over 250,000 bottles of Bar Salts this year, that's over 2.5 million litres of nic salt vape juice...enough to fill an olympic sized swimming pool!
Our core range which was our inital launch compiled of 30 different flavours, and most of these are our top selling flavours in the entire range such as Blue Razz Lemonade, Blueberry Sour Raspberry and Watermelon Ice.
We wanted to expand the range of Bar Salts to offer different flavours that cater to all flavour preferences and paletes which is why we expanded the Bar Salts ranges as we showcase them below.
Bar Salts Desserts
The first expansion of our Bar Salts range saw Bar Salts Desserts launched in October of this year. 8 decadent flavours inspired by popular dessert choices paired with our smooth and satisfying nicotine salts.
With iconic flavours such as Lemon Tart and Vanilla Custard in the range, we wanted to branch out and make more unique flavours in the form of Banana Caramel Waffle and Apple Crumble. This range is perfect for those who want a dessert flavour and less sweet fruity flavours.
Bar Salts Sodas
Launching shortly after Desserts was our drinks inspired range of nic salt vape juices, Bar Salts Sodas!
The range includes 8 different Soda flavoured vape juices, with classics such as Cherryade and Fruit Punch as well as some different flavours not often seen in nic salt vape juice form such as Grapefruit Soda and Iron Soda (Our take on a classic Scottish fizzy favourite!)

Bar Salts Fruits
And our final addition to the Bar Salts range was Bar Salts Fruits, a range of 12 stand alone and simplistic fruit flavours such as Strawberry or Watermelon and they're paired with our smooth nicotine salts.
We know that a lot of people enjoy a fruity vape juice, but do not enjoy the ice finish which is a common trend with today's vape juices, so our Bar Salts Fruit range is a standalone fruit flavour, with no ice added to it, making it perfect for those looking for simplicity but maximum flavour.
The Best Vape Kits Of 2024 - Available At LiQuid
2024 saw us here at LiQuid vastly increase the range of refillable vape kits that are available to buy online.
Our resident product expert James took the helm to oversee operations of finding new vape kits for us to stock, leaning on his 7 years experience in the vaping industry, as well as being a vaper for this duration of time, to know exactly what devices we should add to our catalogue.

VOOPOO Argus P2 Refillable Pod Kit
VOOPOO continued on their yearly trend of releasing plenty of new vape kits in 2024, with some brand new device series as well as upgrading old favourites to bring them up to modern era.
The Argus P2 is an upgrade from it's predecessor, the Argus P1, and what an upgrade it is! Featuring a bigger and longer lasting battery, as well as improved Argus pods fitted with mesh coils for heightened flavour, the P2 is a top contender for the device of the year in our books, it's one you'll not want to stop using once you start!
Aspire Cyber G Slim Refillable Pod Kit
Much like VOOPOO, Aspire have released many great vape kits every year since around 2017, and 2024 really put them in the spotlight with some brilliant kits put on to the market.
A strong contender for James' device of the year, the Cyber G Slim is an incredibly compact and slimline vape kit which houses a 1300mAh battery, which is bigger than some other pod kits which are double the size of the Cyber G Slim!
Using Aspire TG pods which house mesh coils for maximum flavour, the Cyber G Slim is a brilliant device well worth trying!
Vaporesso Xros Pro Refillable Pod Kit
And finally rounding off this showcase of devices released in 2024 is the incredible Xros Pro by Vaporesso! We already stock the Vaporesso Xros 3 and all other iterations of it, so it was a no brainer that we add this to our online vape store!

Celebrating 10 Years of LiQuid in 2024
2024 was a special year for LiQuid as we celebrated our 10 year anniversary. That's right, we've been providing affordable vape juices to our valued customers for an entire decade!
We have evolved a lot over the course of the last 10 years, from offering simple freebase nicotine vape juices in limited flavours, to now having a wide range of vape juices to cater to all vapers and their preferences as well as being available in tapered nicotine strengths as well to support people on the full duration of their vaping journey.

Vaping Headlines In 2024
There certainly were some big headlines in the vaping world in 2024, and we're going to pick out a few of the most significant headlines which are set to turn 2025 into a very interesting year for the vaping industry.
Disposable Vapes To Be Banned in 2025
Arguably the biggest news to break this year within the vaping world was the announcement from our new Labour Government that 2025 will become the year disposable vapes are finally set to be banned in the UK.
First mentioned by former UK PM Rishi Sunak at the tail end of 2023, the Tobacco and Vapes Bill aimed to bring an end of days to disposable vapes and stop them being sold in the UK once and for all.
Scotland First To Announce Disposable Ban
It was just before Labour's announcement to ban disposable vapes that Scotland took the first steps and announced that disposable vapes would be banned from sale as of April 2025.
We speculate that this may have prompted the announcement from Labour a few months later for a disposable vape ban in England as of June '25.
Vape Tax Announced For 2026
Another thing which was included in the Labour Autumn budget was the announcement of a "levy tax" being introduced on bottles of vape juice as of October 2026.
A staggering 22p per ml tax is set to be put on bottles of vape juice from October 2026. Check out our feature blog and read our reaction as well as others on this groundbreaking announcement from earlier this year.
New Additions To Our Vape Juice Ranges In 2024
Not only did we launch some new flavour ranges to our incredible Bar Salts range of nic salts, we also added three completely new ranges of vape juices to cater to those who may want to enjoy our Original flavours, combined with nicotine salt base rather than freebase as well as those who may prefer to use High VG vape juice!
Original £1 Nic Salt Range
Our Bar Salts range of nic salts may not be to everyone's flavour preference as they are on the sweeter side due to double the flavour concentrates used.
So we wanted to launch a range of nic salt vape juices that are simplistic in flavour combined with smooth and satisfying nicotine salt which is how our Original £1 range of nic salts was created!
Featuring 6 of our best selling OG flavours from our Freebase range, you can choose from 10mg or 20mg nicotine strength and enjoy these classic flavours combined with our own nicotine salt base!
High VG 50ml Shortfill Range
We didn't want to leave out the vapers who enjoy sub-ohm vaping with our range expansions, which is why we added shortfills to our online vape shop!
Whilst we have our 10ml HVG range, we wanted to give our customers even more value for money with our 50ml Shortfills!

High VG 100ml Shortfill Range
Whilst our 50ml Shortfills were a success with our customer base, we wanted to step it up a notch when it came to value for money, which is why we relaunched our 100ml Shortfill range of High VG vape juices!
Our legacy customers will remember these being available back in the early days of LiQuid and we decided to bring them back and they've proven a huge hit once again!

What's To Come In 2025 At LiQuid
Whilst we don't want to totally spoil the surprises ahead for our customers, we're going to give you a little sneak peak into what is coming to the LiQuid site in 2025.
The Long Awaited Arrival Of LiQuid Nicotine Pouches!
You may have seen us talk about LiQuid Nicotine Pouches in some of our published content and we're proud to say that the wait is almost over for you to be able to buy them!
Our team of flavour and production experts have worked tirelessly for the last few months to get these pouches up to the high quality that we are known for, and they're incredibly close to completion and being made available to buy from our online vape shop!
We're still going to keep the full details under wraps for now, but rest assured there will be a variety of flavours to choose from as well as tapered nicotine strengths to cater to those who may never have used nicotine pouches before all the way to nicotine strengths that are more suited for the experienced nic pouch user.
The Return Of Some Old Favourites
After seeing resounding success of the reintroduction of some of our classic flavours in the High VG range, we wanted to focus on bringing some classic flavours from our extensive back catalogue which were a huge hit when we had them available to buy online.
We're pleased to announce that a few of our classic dessert flavours will be returning to our Original £1 range in 2025! Flavour production of these are now in final stages ready for these fantastic favourites to be mixed and prepared for sale, and we're hoping for them to be ready around Spring time next year!
New Product Development Plans For 2025
And finally, we're in the final stages of finalising some new products ready to be developed for the year ahead. We're going to be adding some completely brand new flavours to our Original £1 freebase range in 2025!
We carried out a series of survey's this year asking our customers as well as vapers in the UK what flavours of vape juice they would want to see added to our online vape shop and we're going to be adding a select few of these flavours to our freebase vape juice range.
Keep an eye out for future announcements, as there's going to be something for everyone's flavour preference from new fruity flavours, indulgent dessert flavours and traditional tobacco flavours with a twist!

We've fulfilled over 250,000 orders, had over 1.25 million people visit our online vape shop and sold over FIVE MILLION bottles of vape juice in 2024...enough to fill 20 olympic length swimming pools!
2024 has been an incredible year for us at LiQuid and 2025 is shaping up to be just as incredible..if not more incredible than 2024 has been!
