What are high VG e-liquids?

High VG (vegetable glycerine) e-liquids are the perfect design for vapers looking to create those huge vape clouds! This is made possible with sub-ohm devices.

So what is sub-ohming? Sub-ohming is when the resistance of the e-cigarette is lowered meaning that a greater amount of power can be released across the circuit. If the circuit has a coil that can carry this wattage, the vapour is very different from that of a normal e-cigarette.

The clouds are much larger when using high VG E-liquids and in turn, create a bolder vape due to the added power which heats the coil.

Is high VG vape juice better?

Higher VG liquids perform well with lower resistance coils (less than 1ohm), whereas 50/50 e-liquids perform best with higher resistance coils (more than 1ohm). High VG e-liquids provide more vapour and a smoother throat hit, but the liquid is viscous and can rapidly clog coils.
