They use the same pods, have an almost identical design, and despite the Mini being smaller in size, they both have a 1000mAh battery.
The main differences are the size, with the mini being even more travel-friendly than the full-size model, and the fact the mini lacks adjustable airflow or a power button. This is intentionally done to make the device as sleek and seamless for a new vaper to use as possible. If you enjoyed the simplicity of disposable vapes and wanted a more permanent kit that offered similar ease, the Xros 3 Mini would be a great alternative!
How Long Does the Xros 3 Mini Last?
Thanks to having the same 1000mAh battery as it’s big brother, the Mini performs very well indeed, lasting for a typical day’s vaping when using 50-50 juice with the 1.2ohm pod option. You should be aware however that when using the 0.6ohm pod, the battery tends to deplete faster, and you will get through your liquid a little quicker too – this is just because of that more open draw resistance which pulls more e-juice to the wick, and the fact the coil requires more power to heat up being rated as sub-ohm.
The pods themselves are also very well made, resistant to leaks thanks to a top-fill design. They feature high quality mesh coils that deliver excellent flavour and vapour even when past their best.
What Coils Does the Xros 3 Mini Use?
The Vaporesso Xros 3 Mini is compatible with two different coils built into refillable pods. It comes with both included in the starter kit so you can decide which you prefer to use before buying more.
The 0.6ohm pod has a more open “RDL” draw resistance that produces a little more vapour but uses up more battery power and e-liquid than the alternative, but this pod can handle both 50-50 and High-VG vape juices, but will perform best with 50-50. The 1.2ohm pod is designed solely for 50-50 blends including nic salts, but lasts for a surprising amount of time, delivering excellent flavour thanks to its internal COREX mesh technology.
How Long Do Vaporesso Coils Last?
Vaporesso Xros 3 coils in particular outlast a lot of the competition thanks to their unique mesh technology called COREX. This tech delivers a consistent heat to the coil which allows for more even evaporation of your chosen e-liquid. This helps to prolong the lifespan of the coil without reducing performance.
With normal use, Xros coils can last in excess of 14 days at a time.
What Vape Juice is Best with the Xros 3 mini?
50-50 e-juice and nic salts are the Mini’s best option, and will help your coils last longer. If you are a High-VG vaper however, you can also make use of the 0.6ohm pod however the coil may not last quite as long – nor your battery and vape liquid.
