About The Aspire Flexus Pro
Aspire are one of the leading brands for vape kits in 2024 and have been for many years. They consider themselves an industry leader and based on their history, this moniker has been well earnt. Their most popular vape kit, the Aspire PockeX was first released back in 2017, and this set an industry standard for how vape kits should be made and it still sells in high volumes globally today as it did when it was first released.
Aspire branched out into making refillable pod vape kits a few years on, and their stand out refillable pod vape kit the Aspire Flexus Q really revolutionized pod vaping due to it's exceptional performance and build quality.
In 2024, Aspire have continued on from the success of the Flexus Q by releasing an upgraded version in the form of the Aspire Flexus Pro. The Flexus Pro takes all the best parts of the Flexus Q and adds a few extra new features to excel this to the top of the pod vaping world.

Aspire Flexus Pro Vape Kit Features
As we mentioned, the Flexus Pro has several different features compared to it's predecessor. The most notable added feature is adjustable wattage capability which ranges from 5 watts to 30 watts depending on which coil is used. I explain how to alter this further on in the blog (don't worry, it's very easy to do).
Speaking of vape coils, the Flexus Pro still utilises Aspire AF mesh coils to delivery exceptional flavour as well as a long lasting lifespan.
The Flexus Pro pods come in two variants also. When you buy the kit, you get the replaceable coil variants of the pods, as well as two replacement coils to use which are 0.6ohm and 1.0ohm.
But you can also buy the replacement Aspire Flexus Pro pods that come with the coils preinstalled in them, which is ideal if you're not wanting the hassle of changing coils and just want a more convenient way to vape with replacement pods.
The Flexus Pro also has adjustable airflow, which is located on the side of the device. It has two airflow holes which can be adjusted by sliding the airflow control up or down.
My First Impressions of the Aspire Flexus Pro
I was incredibly excited to get my hands on the Aspire Flexus Pro as I've previously used the Aspire Flexus Q and thought quite highly of it and how it performed, so to an improved version of that was something that I couldn't wait for.
Taking off the cellophane wrapper and sliding the top cover of the box off, I was greeted with the sight of a beautiful pearlescent White Flexus Pro. The pearlescent finish on the middle pannels on the front and back of the device looks really good and is a step up from the matte colouring which the Flexus Q featured.
I took the device out of the box and was a little taken aback by the weight of the device when it was in hand. Don't get me wrong, it's not uncomfortable in weight, it's just heavier than its predecessor but this is due to the upgraded battery size.
The device comes with the Flexus pod already in the device, and it has the 0.6ohm coil in the pod with the spare 1.0ohm coil packaged next to it. And the USB-C charging cable is to the right of the device in the box as well.
At the bottom left corner towards the base of the device is the screen and the fire button is located central to the device and is slightly raised up. And on the base of the device is where the USB-C charging port is located.
5 quick clicks of the button turned the device on and the small screen displayed the Aspire logo before flicking to the output settings.
The battery percentage is also clearly displayed with a battery that has individual bars that dissapear as the battery life goes down, and it also has the battery life percentage displayed too to give you a clear insight.
I took the pod out of the device which was easily done as it's held in place by magnets, so a gentle pull will release it. It's not loose at all when in the device and doesn't come out should you tip the device upside down or lay it down.
Filling is pretty easy as there's a rubber bung that can be removed to reveal the fill port which is wide enough to get the tip of your vape juice bottle in to refill. I topped up the pod with my vape juice of choice - Apple Crumble Bar Salts and let the juice soak into the coil for 5 minutes as normal. Then, it was time to vape!
What Is It Like To Use The Aspire Flexus Pro Vape Kit?
Right, lets get down to the exciting part, and what you've came here for...my vaping experience with the Flexus Pro!
How Do You Turn On The Aspire Flexus Pro?
As mentioned, 5 quick clicks of the button turned the device on and the wattage was set automatically to 15 watts. 5 clicks again powers the vape kit down.
How Do You Change The Power Settings On The Aspire Flexus Pro?
I opted to use the 1.0hm coil first as I like a true mouth-to-lung style vape so had to slightly lower the wattage before i wanted to vape.
To alter the wattage, you have to press the button 3 times in quick succession. This will then make the number flash on and off which means it can be altered. And to alter the wattage, you can press the button to increase it by 1 watt at a time, or hold the button down to fast cycle through the numbers. And once you reached the desire wattage, don't press anything and leave the number to flash 3 times before it stops and your wattage is then set!
How Do You Change The Vaping Modes On The Aspire Flexus Pro?
The Flexus Pro also has 3 different modes which can be altered by quick pressing the button 4 times. And when you do this, it'll display the following:
A Mode - This is inhale activated only mode
B Mode - This is button activated mode (where you have to press the button in to activate the coil)
AB Mode - This is both inhale and button activated modes combined.
I opted to keep it on A mode as I've been so used to inhale activated devices that pressing a button in to vape seemed a bit odd to me, which is a change as it wasn't that long ago that all vape kits were button activated! And it was finally time for my first inhale on the Flexus Pro.
How Does The Aspire Flexus Pro Perform For Flavour, Vapour & Smoothness?
I was genuinely impressed by just how well this vape device performs. The flavour of my Apple Crumble nic salts was absolutely incredible, a really rich flavour came through which was delivered by the mesh coil design of the AF coils. And the vapour production was really good as well, a nice thick cloud of vapour produced on the exhale but it wasn't a lot as I was only using the device on a low wattage output.
I played around with the wattage settings to find my sweet spot, and I increased it to 15 watts which produced more flavour and more cloud, but settled on 12 watts as my preferred wattage. I slightly restricted the airflow as well which gave a tighter, smoother draw and punchier throat hit which is something I prefer.
For the purpose of the review, I did also put the 0.6ohm coil in to the pod (once the pod was empty of vape juice) to see what it was like. Giving a bit more flexibility to ramp the wattage up, I adjusted it to 18w before giving it a try. And wow, it really did give a strong, punchy hit full of flavour and very good vape cloud production.
What Is The Best Vape Coil For The Aspire Flexus Pro?
If you want a mouth to lung style vape, I'd recommend using the 1.0ohm coil/pod or the 0.8ohm pod.
I would recommend using the 0.6ohm coil for a good restricted direct to lung vape experience if you close off the airflow slightly.
I wouldn't recommend pushing the wattage past 18w as you'll likely burn the coil out quickly which isn't what you want.
What Are The Best E-Liquids To Use With The Aspire Flexus Pro?
I used a variety of different flavours from our Bar Salts range, both our original flavours like Strawberry Kiwi and Apple & Peach as well as trialling our latest Desserts Bar Salts flavours like Lemon Tart and Blueberry Cheesecake. The flavour delivered from the AF coils was exceptional, and the coils have shown no signs of detoriation despite using sweeter double concentrated flavours.
To summarise after a week of using the Flexus Pro, I am very impressed by how this device performed and couldn't recommend it more if you're looking for an excellent refillable pod vape kit.
Buy Aspire Flexus Pro Replacement Pods Online
The Flexus Pro comes with the Flexus Pro pods which uses replaceable coils. It's incredibly easy to fit the coils and change them around, as they're a simple "push and pull" design, and are easily fitted into the base of the pods.
The replacement Flexus Pro pods which we stock on the site (pictured right) are the ones which already have the coils preinstalled in them, which offers extra convenience if you don't want to change coils, as you just throw the pods away and replace with a new one once the coil burns out.
The Flexus Pro pods are available to buy online for £5.49 for a pack of two pods, and you can choose from 0.8ohm or 1.0ohm coil resistance. Each pod is 2ml capacity to adhere to TPD legislation.
What Vape Juice Works Best With Aspire Flexus Pro
My preferred vape juice of choice for daily use is our nic salt infused Bar Salts range, and these are solely what I used for this review.
They worked very well with the Flexus Pro, and the coil hasn't shown any signs of detoriation despite sweeter flavours being used, and also frequent use of the device.
If you're opting to use the 1.0ohm or 0.8ohm coils in the replacement Flexus Pro pods, I would recommend sticking with using 50/50 vape juice. You can use either the same as me, which is Bar Salts 10ml, or if you're not wanting nicotine salts, our original £1 range is made with freebase nicotine and available in 5 different nicotine strengths.
And if you want more value for money, and only use a low nicotine strength like 3mg or 6mg, then you can also get select flavours in our Bar Salts range in 100ml shortfills, which comes as nicotine free and you just add nicotine shots to them yourself.
If using the 0.6ohm coil which comes in the box, you may be ok to use High VG vape juice with this coil only, and run the device at a higher wattage to give an RDTL vape experience.
How Long Does It Take To Charge The Aspire Flexus Pro & How Long Is The Battery Life?
As I have mentioned in the blog, the Flexus Pro is powered by a 1200mah internal battery, which is a vast upgrade from the Flexus Q which was only a 700mah battery.
I found that the battery life left a bit to be desired with the Flexus Q as I'm a frequent vaper, especially when I'm working, so the Flexus Pro having an upgraded & longer lasting battery was a welcome change to me.
The device comes with 75% battery and I decided to use it until the battery life dwindled down to a lower percentage to see how long it would last. Suprisingly, it took nearly a day and a half of consistent usage before I needed to put it on charge.
However when the time did come to charge it, i plugged it in, charging via USB-C, and because of it utilising Aspire's well known fast charging abilities, it only took just under 45 minutes to charge from 9% to 100% which was pretty impressive!
Final Thoughts
If you hadn't have already guessed by now, I am a big fan of the Aspire Flexus Pro and it really is an outstanding vape kit. From all of the reviews I've done for the site, I would say that using the Flexus Pro has been the stand out so far.
It provides an excellent vape experience with the Aspire AF coils giving long lasting life as well as supreme flavour from the vape juice I used.
The battery life is long lasting as well and it only takes under an hour to fully charge, meaning you won't be left without a vape for long if the Flexus Pro is your sole vape device.
I couldn't recommend this vape device more for anyone seeking their first vape kit, or an upgrade to their current set up, as it fits the bill for any level of vaping experience with it's user friendly interface and easy to understand instructions and how to utilise the different features such as variable wattage as well as the inhale modes.
