Vaporesso - A Fast Growing Vape Brand
Vaporesso vape brand was established in December 2015, with a clear sight to establish themselves as the brand that achieves excellency with everything that they produce.
Vaporesso's debut series of vape kits were the Vaporesso Target, and I actually owned one of these myself as it was one of the first sub ohm vape kits I purchased after I moved away from my beginner vape kit. The release of the Target recieved critical acclaim and shot Vaporesso to the fore front of vaping technology and innovations, and their growth just continued to snowball from there.
Releasing other fantastic ranges of sub ohm vape kits such as the Vaporesso Revenger and Vaporesso Gen before finally dipping their toe into the pod device market in August 2021 with the release of the first Vaporesso Xros.
The Vaporesso Xros was an extremely versatile vape pod kit, utilising both plus and sub ohm coils within the replacement pods as to cater to all vapers and their preffered vaping style, whether that be mouth to lung, direct to lung or restricted direct to lung.
In May of the following year, Vaporesso then revolutionized pod vaping as we knew it, by releasing their Corex mesh coil design used in the replacement Xros pods and this entered vapers into a world of flavour and performance not commonly seen prior.
As the years have passed since 2021, there has been further releases in the Xros family of pod vapes, and we are proud to offer them to buy from our online vape shop here at LiQuid. Read on to learn more about these fantastic vape devices!
About The Vaporesso Xros Pod Vape Series
We'll start off this section of the blog by looking at the Vaporesso Xros 3.
The Xros 3 is an incredibly versatile pod vape kit, capable of catering to all styles of vaping, with the replacement Xros Pods having varying ohms resistance coils preinstalled in them.
Powered by a 1000mah battery, the Xros 3 gives all day use on a fully charged battery and is the perfect vape kit if you're looking to try pod vaping for the first time!
Released very closely after the Xros 3 is it's smaller sibling, the Xros 3 Mini.
The Xros 3 Mini was designed for those who are looking for a palm size vape capable of giving big flavour and a satisfying vaping experience. Utilising the same replacement pods as the Xros 3, it's a great option if you're looking something for less than £20 that will fit nicely into your bag or pocket when you're on the move.
Despite it being smaller in size, it does still boast a 1000mah battery which is the same as the Xros 3, which I must say is pretty impressive that it's managed to be squeezed into such a small device!
And finally, released earlier this year (2024) was the latest vape kit in the Xros series, and arguably the best, and that's the Vaporesso Xros Pro!
The Xros Pro is absolutely jam packed with features that differ from the original Xros 3 and Xros 3 Mini, and despite it's "pro" moniker, it's extremely user friendly!
For the first time on a Xros pod vape, the Pro has variable wattage settings, meaning you can adjust it to your desire wattage output, as well as specific Xros Pro pods that feature Vaporesso's Corex mesh coil build for the ultimate vape experience!
How To Use The Vaporesso Xros 3 & Xros 3 Mini
Vaporesso have really knocked it out of the park when it comes to user friendly devices, especially with the Pro, as they are exceptionally easy to use even if you've not had any experience with a vape kit before!
As the Xros 3 and Xros 3 Mini do not have any variable wattage features or anything like that, it's simply a case of turning the device on, filling your pod up and dropping it into the device, and you're all set to vape with it!
Filling the Xros pods is really simple and straight forward but may be slightly confusing when you first get them. How to refill the Xros pods is to get a firm grip on the black mouthpiece part of the pod, and give some light pressure either forwards or backwards, this will then unclick the protective top cap.
It does make a kind of snap sound, but don't panic you haven't broken anything, this is perfectly normal! Looking down on top of the pod, you'll notice three holes, and you want to look for the hole which has either a red or black rubber bung underneath it, located inside the pod as this is the refill hole.
Put the tip of your vape juice bottle into the opening and gentle squeeze and this will fill your Xros pod ready to vape! This is the same technique for all Vaporesso Xros pods regardless of which you use.
The adjustable airflow is located on the back of the device for the Xros 3 and Xros 3 Mini, and you can slide the button to close off the airflow to suit your preffered style of vaping.

What Ohms Are The Vaporesso Xros Pods?
Vaporesso Xros Replacement Pods are available in varied ohms resistances so to cater to all styles of vaping as well as wattage outputs of your Xros device.
If you're looking for a mouth to lung vape experience, we would recommend either the 1.2, 1.0 or the 0.8ohm Xros pods. If you're wanting a restricted direct to lung vape, then the 0.6ohm Xros pods are for you and finally, if you're seeking to experience sub ohm vaping, then we'd recommend using the 0.4ohm pods!
But be aware that whilst all other Xros pods are universally compatible with any Xros device, the 0.4ohm Xros pods only work in the Vaporesso Xros Pro, as they need to run at a higher wattage output which the Xros Pro is capable of.
What Vape Juice Can I Use In The Vaporesso Xros?
The Vaporesso Xros pods are extremely versatile and built to provide a long lasting coil life, that packs a full on flavour experience with every puff, but there are some specifics when it comes to what vape juice can be used with which pod, as using the right juice with the right coil is an essential thing to get right if you want the most optimal vape. I explain and give my recommendations below on what vape juice to use with what pod.
0.8ohm/1.0ohm/1.2ohm Vaporesso Xros Pod
As you can see by the ohm resistance, these are on the higher end of the scale therefore would cater to those looking for a mouth to lung style vape experience. The device will automatically set itself to a low wattage output based on which coil resistance is housed in the pod but it will normally range from around 10 watts to 15 watts maximum.
The best vape juice to compliment these pods would be any of our fantastic 50VG/50PG vape juices. As there's an even mixture of VG/PG in these vape juices, you'll get a punchy throat hit from the vape juice as well as the tighter draw in which the coils will provide.

These two ohms resistances are classed as "Sub ohm" meaning you will get either a restricted direct to lung vape with the 0.6ohm pod or a true direct to lung vape with the 0.4ohm Xros pod. How Much Vape Juice Can I Put In The Vaporesso Xros Pods?
All Vaporesso Xros replacement pods have a 2ml vape juice capacity. This is to adhere to TPD regulations set out back in 2017 which stated that any vape tank or vape pod must not exceed 2ml in capacity.
Can I Change The Wattage On The Vaporesso Xros?
The Vaporesso Xros 3 and Xros 3 Mini do not have variable wattage settings, instead the device automatically sets the wattage output based on what the coil resistance is that's housed in the pod. The Vaporesso Xros Pro does have variable wattage settings which you can change to suit your preference.
How Long Do Vaporesso Xros Pods Last For?
It's estimated that any Vaporesso Xros replacement pod should last around 7-10 days, but this can vary depending on frequency of use as well as what vape juice is used. Sweeter vape juice flavours can cause the coils lifespan to slightly shorten, and if you use your device fairly regularly, the cotton in the coil will deteroriate quicker thus leading to your coil burning out.
Vaporesso did introduce the Corex mesh coil build to their Xros pods, which does provide more flavour as well as longer lasting life.
How Long Does It Take To Charge The Vaporesso Xros?
The Xros 3 and Xros 3 Mini takes roughly around one hour to fully charge from low battery. The Xros Pro however has new fast charge capability and can charge your device from 5%-100% in under 30 minutes, which is perfect if you're not wanting to wait around while your vape charges.
