About The Aspire Cyber G Slim
Aspire have been one of the leading brands in the vape kit world for many years, creating some incredible vape devices that cater to all levels of vaping experience.
They are most known for the Aspire PockeX which paved the way for many other pen vape kits to come onto market, before establishing themselves as top class refillable pod vape manufacturers with their creations such as the Aspire Gotek X and the Aspire Flexus Q.
I recently reviewed the Aspire Flexus Pro which was their latest refillable pod vape kit that launched alongside the Cyber G Slim.
The Cyber G 'Slim' is the smaller variant of the already impressive Aspire Cyber G. I'd heard such good things about the Cyber G and the performance it gives, so when the opportunity arose for us to stock the Cyber G Slim, and for me to review, it just made sense!
The Cyber G Slim brings the best parts of it's big brother, but in a more compact and sleek design, but with an improved battery life and available at a very budget friendly price.

Aspire Cyber G Slim Vape Kit Features
As mentioned, the Cyber G Slim is the smaller variation of the Cyber G which came out earlier this year.
Whilst it's smaller and compact in design, this doesn't mean it doesn't have everything you need for a fantastic vaping experience.
It utilises the specific Aspire TG pods, which are 2ml refillable pods and they already have the coils preinstalled in them for ultra convenience.
And the coil used inside each pod features Aspire's patented mesh coil design, offering you maximum flavour as well as long last life with every coil and pod that you use.
The Cyber G Slim is an AIO (all in one) device as it doesn't have any features like variable wattage nor does it have adjustable airflow or even any buttons to press. However, the battery size is 1200mah which is just crazy for a device this small to have a battery of that big of a capacity, and it's actually 200mah more than what the Cyber G is. I thought this was a huge selling point and I go into the battery life a little later on in this review blog.
My First Impressions of the Aspire Cyber G Slim
Opening the box and sliding out the plastic tray which held everything in place, I was slightly taken aback at just how small this device was and genuinely thought there is no way that they've got a 1200mah battery inside this pocket sized device.
The device comes in one compartment, and another compartment holds the TG pod. The pod which comes with this device is the 0.8ohm pod, but there are 1.0ohm pods available as well.
As mentioned, these pods are sealed with the coils preinstalled in them so you just replace the whole pod as and when the coil reaches the end of it's life, and you don't have to worry about getting your hands messy with changing coils.
The pods have a black rubber bung towards the base of them, which when pulled back reveals the filling port which is nice and wide and easy enough to get the tip of your vape juice bottle in to.
Taking the device out of the box for the first time and holding it in hand, I was truly amazed at how light this device was, even when the pod was put into the device. Being fully made out of plastic, it's super lightweight and you probably won't even feel it when it's in your pocket.
As I mentioned above, the device is an AIO and it's inhale activated, so no buttons to press. And it doesn't have a screen or any form of display for wattage or battery life.
I topped up the TG pod with my trusty Bar Salts Raspberry and let it sit for 5 minutes to properly absorb the vape juice and then, it was time to vape with the Cyber G Slim!
What Is It Like To Use The Aspire Cyber G Slim Vape Kit?
I've gathered some of what I feel would be the most frequently asked questions and answered them below whilst giving my review of using the Cyber G Slim.
How Do You Turn On The Aspire Cyber G Slim?
As there's no power buttons to press, the Cyber G Slim is already powered up and ready to go, with no on or off capabilities. And as it's inhale activated, you don't have to worry about the device self-firing when it's in your pocket or bag.
How Do You Change The Power Settings On The Aspire Cyber G Slim?
There's no variable wattage options with the Cyber G Slim. Instead, the device's smart-chip automatically sets the wattage output based on which coil is in the pod that you're using. My estimations for the wattage range are;
0.8ohm Pod - 13-15w
1.0ohm Pod - 10-12w
How Does The Aspire Cyber G Slim Perform For Flavour, Vapour & Smoothness?
Aspire mesh coil's are renowned for the flavour that they produce, and the mesh coil inside the TG pod isn't any exception to this as the flavour produced from the Cyber G Slim was absolutely superb.
I use Bar Salts as my every day vape juice, as well as 6mg 50/50 Freebase from our Original £1 range occassionally. And even though Bar Salts are notoriously sweeter and flavoursome due to them being nicotine salts, the flavour from Strawberry and Lime 6mg that I used was just as good, which shows the coil was doing it's job of delivering that trademark Aspire flavour enhancement.
The vapour produced was very subtle, not thick clouds as the coils are not built for this, and it soon dispersed in the air once I exhaled.
What Is The Best Vape Coil For The Aspire Cyber G Slim?
With there only being two coil resistances available, you don't really get much flexibility if you want different vaping styles other than mouth to lung, as 0.8ohm and 1.0ohm coils are always related to MTL style vaping. If you're wanting a tighter draw then the 1.0ohm pod might be better for you. I only used the 0.8ohm pod for the purpose of this review and it still gave a good MTL style draw on the inhale.
I've used the Cyber G Slim for the last two weeks with the same pod and the coil has not shown any signs of deterioration or burnt hits.
One thing I will mention is, when refilling the TG pods, be careful when removing the rubber bung to open the fill port. As if it comes completely out, it's incredibly hard to get back in....I speak from experience!
Buy Aspire Cyber G Slim Replacement Pods Online
The Aspire TG replacement pods come as a pack of two and are available in 2 different ohm resistances to suit your preferences, either 0.8ohm and 1.0ohm resistance.
They have a magnetic base which activates when the pods are dropped into the device and I found these magnets to be very strong and the pod did not dislodge or fall out when the device was laid down or tipped upside down. The lengths I go to for the sake of this review!
They are 2ml capacity as to adhere to TPD regulations.
What Vape Juice Works Best With The Aspire Cyber G Slim
My preferred vape juice of choice for daily use is our nic salt infused Bar Salts range, and these are what I primarly used for this review as well as some of our Original £1 range as well.
I would only recommend using 50/50 vape juices with the Cyber G Slim due to their higher ohm resistance coils housed within the pods. If you were to use High VG vape juice, it likely won't pull through the coil and end up ruining your pod.

How Long Does It Take To Charge The Aspire Cyber G Slim & How Long Is The Battery Life?
I've made it no secret that I'm astounded they've managed to fit a 1200mah battery into this small pocket rocket device, and the performance of the battery is absolutely brilliant.
With the coils being a high resistance and the wattage output being relatively low, there isn't any stress or extra work put on the battery to perform, so the battery life on the Cyber G Slim is incredible and really long lasting.
The only downside I found with this is how the battery life is indicated and it stumped me a little at first to work out how and where it was shown. On the base of the device is a tiny LED light, and this illuminates when you're vaping and goes through three colours to indicate battery percentage.
Green - Good battery life remaining
Blue - Battery will likely need charging soon
Red - Battery running down, charge now
I found that you have to kind of take an inhale, then quickly look at the bottom for the colour of the LED indicator, or another trick is to hold your hand underneath the base of it and you'll see the colour reflecting as it's a pretty bright light.
I used this device for almost two days before I needed to put it on charge, so that shows just how long the battery lasts. And when I did put it on charge, it didn't take more than 45 minutes to go from a red indicator to a green indicator. Fast charge capability is something Aspire have used in many of their newer devices and it's something I really approve of.
Final Thoughts On The Aspire Cyber G Slim
I think I've made my feelings pretty clear in this review about the Cyber G Slim, it is an absolutely exceptional vape device that has probably been one of my favourites to review.
Just everything about this is great, the size and lightness of it, how easy the pods are to fill, how the coils accelerate the flavour of my vape juice, the battery life and most importantly, the RRP of the device makes this exceptional value for money.
For just £11.99, you're getting a 1200mah battery pod vape kit, and the replacement pods are only £4.99 for two. This device performs better than some of the higher priced vape kits on the market today, and it's just the most ideal beginner vape kit or a secondary kit if you're looking for something smaller that still delivers a stellar performance.
I could not recommend this device more to anyone who's looking for a new vape kit, and this is one that I'll be using for a long time. Buy it today and you won't regret it!
