Aspire Vape - Pod Vape Kit Innovators
Aspire Vape have been at the forefront of the vaping industry for over a decade, and are considered as one of the "pillar brands" when it comes to vape kits.
The Aspire brand was established in 2010 and founded in Shenzhen, China. This was around the time that vaping and the use of e-cigarettes really started gaining in popularity as people looked for alternatives to tobacco products and Aspire set to work on making their mark on the vaping world.
Aspire cut their teeth on refillable pen vape kits as well as bigger sub ohm devices in their early years of vape kit manufacturing, but they continued to keep up with current vape trends and when pod vaping really started to take off, it wasn't long before Aspire made their mark.
Their first refillable pod vape kit was the Aspire Gusto, and this was released around 2017, just as nicotine salts began taking precedent with vapers as the preffered vape juice. The Aspire Gusto was designed to be optimised with nicotine salts, and it became very popular amongst vapers worldwide, who were getting a first experience of pod vape kits.
Moving forward into more recent times, Aspire redesigned their pod vape kits and this is how the Aspire Gotek X was born. A simplistic, palm sized pod vape kit that packed a big punch when it came to flavour as well as vapour production.
And Aspire continued on with the success of the Gotek X by releasing the Gotek Pro a short while later, with a bigger battery, and optimised mesh coil design within the refillable Gotek pods that can be used in either the Gotek X and the Gotek Pro.
Aspire show no signs of slowing down when it comes to innovations and producing high quality vape kits, and the Gotek series of refillable pod vape kits are a fine example of this!
About The Aspire Gotek X & Gotek Pro
The Gotek X is a simple and easy to use pod vape kit which acts as the perfect starter vape kit. It doesn't have any advanced features like variable wattage to understand, instead it uses refillable Gotek pods, which you refill and drop into the device and Aspire's smart chip automatically sets the wattage output for you, making this one of the most user friendly vape kits on the market today!
It's small and discreet size make it the perfect portable vape kit, and also can act as the perfect disposable vape alternative if you're looking to move away from using disposables, and especially if you're trying to get ahead of the potential disposable vape ban that could be coming to the UK in 2025.
Powered by a 650mah battery with an estimated output of around 12 watts (with 0.8ohm Gotek pod) this will give a punch mouth to lung style vape, and all day use on a fully charged battery, depending on frequency of use.
Following on from the roaring success of the Gotek X, Aspire wanted to continue on with the series, and introduced the Gotek Pro in 2023.
Utilising the same Gotek replacement pods as what the Gotek X uses, the Pro offers a bit more with an improved 1500mah battery to provide all day use on a full charge, and to give more power and flavour when used to vape.
Offering the same simplistic approach to vaping as the Gotek X, the Pro is a buttonless device that's inhale activated but does have adjustable airflow which the Gotek X does not.
How To Use The Aspire Gotek X & Gotek Pro
As we have mentioned in the blog, both the Gotek X and the Pro are extremely user friendly, and don't require a vast knowledge of vape devices to be able to use them!
Filling the Gotek pods up is incredibly easy and straight forward. Located towards the base of the pod is an orange bung, simply pop the bung out and put the tip of your vape juice bottle into the opening, and top up your pod with your preferred vape juice.
Drop the pod into your device and then all the rest of the work is done for you! The wattage output is set automatically by the device itself.
Both the Gotek X and Gotek Pro are inhale activated, so no need to worry about pressing buttons. And both the devices charge via USB-C, with the Gotek Pro having fast charge capability.
Please note - The Gotek X does not come with a charging cable, but the Gotek Pro does.
What Ohms Are The Aspire Gotek Pods?
The Gotek replacement pods are available in varied ohms resistances as to cater to different vape style preferences.
When you buy the Gotek Pro or Gotek X, you get 1 0.8ohm pod. This is perfect to give a mouth to lung style vape experience. You can also get 0.6ohm replacement Gotek pod, which is more suited to a restricted direct to lung style vape, especially when using the Gotek Pro as you can adjust the airflow to slightly restrict it to give a tighter or more airy draw.
What Vape Juice Can I Use In The Aspire Gotek X/Pro?
As the Gotek pods are of higher ohms resistance, they're more aimed at mouth to lung or restricted direct to lung vapers, and the devices do not operate at high wattages. Therefore, using a standard 50/50 vape juice would be best in either the Gotek X or Gotek Pro

Can I Change The Wattage On The Aspire Gotek X or Gotek Pro?
Neither the Gotek X or Gotek Pro has variable/adjustable wattage.
What Wattage Output Is The Gotek X/Gotek Pro?
The Gotek X wattage range is around 10-12 watts. However, as the Gotek Pro has an enhanced battery of 1500mah, this can give a higher wattage output of around 13-16 watts.
How Long Do Gotek Pods Last For?
It's estimated that a Gotek pod should last around 7 to 10 days, but there are variables which can cause your pod to last less than the average.
Sweeter vape juice flavours can cause the coils lifespan to slightly shorten, and if you use your device fairly regularly, the cotton in the coil will deteroriate quicker thus leading to your coil burning out.
How Do I Know How Much Battery Is Left On My Gotek X/Gotek Pro
Both the Gotek X and Gotek Pro have LED indicators which relate to your battery level, and illuminates when either the device is being used or whilst it's on charge. Green light means good charge, orange light signals that your battery is mid range and red light means your device needs to go on charge.
